The Bank of Industry (BOI) Fashion Fund

This content is provided by Enterprise Development Centre

On August 11, 2015, the Bank of Industry (BOI) launched the “The BOI Fashion Fund”. This laudable activity is geared towards developing the Nigerian Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector through provision of access to finance. The BOI Fashion Fund is an initiative under the Gender unit of the bank and it is targeted at women-owned fashion businesses only. Click here for the Fashion Fund Checklist.

At the event, the Nigerian fashion sector attained a remarkable milestone via its umbrella body, FADAN (Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria), which regulates the activities of fashion entrepreneurs across the nation. The association received the support of BOI in the establishment of a ‘Production Hub’ having been fervently advocated by Mrs. Funmi Ajila-Ladipo, its National President. The production hub will be accessible by all players in the fashion industry which will in turn, reduce their operational costs.

So, if you have a business that requires funding or want to expand your business, leverage now on the Bank of Industry window on SME Access to Credit through the Business Development Service Partners (BDSP). Enterprise Development Centre (EDC), Pan-Atlantic University is the BDSP for Lagos State and the North Central region.
